I had one day feared this day would come, but it looks like I will be taking a break from modding Hearts of Iron 3 for a spell. A lot of this has to do with burnout on my part, as I have been dedicating my creativity to ICE for a little bit over two years now, and the remaining part of the reason is my relative inability to execute a one-man show as, unfortunately, I am not that talented. It has been great working with the people in this forum, as well as developing both the old Semper Fi ICE, and the new ICE 4. I likely would have not made it as far as I had without support from the ICE community. I also would like to thank the Black ICE team, whom will likely be the successors to ICE.

This message however, is not entirely words. Included in this thread is a link to the latest google code version of ICE 4. Unfortunately, I do not have a changelog for it, but I have managed to fix a lot of bugs and balance issues, especially most of the bugs reported on this forum. In addition to the fixes, there are a handful of new features that I have worked very hard on getting just right that I hope the community will enjoy very much. Unfortunately, the install process has changed a bit as I was unable to get mor2's setup file to work properly. The download link will contain an ICE4 mod file that you just need to drop in your TFH/mod directory.

Chances are, this will be the last version of ICE 4. If anyone would like to include elements from this mod, or this mod entirely, into their mod, I give full permission so long as credits are given to the great folks who made this mod. I will likely hang around this forum as I always have, but I will likely not make any additional versions of ICE 4.

Again, I thank you all for the wonderful time I have had here. It has been a blast.

Download/Install• Make sure you have a clean install of HOI3 along with TFH and 4.02 beta patch installed on your computer.
• Download the  I.C.E. 4.1 Public Alpha and extract the files into your TFH/Mod directory
• Follow instructions, you'll need to locate your HOI3 folder and choose which components of the mod to install.

Thread Library• Post and review screenshots at the Screenshots and Preview of the on going project.
• Read Thoughts on Finest Hour. For a little preview of the current work and thought to the future.

Participate and propose ideas on what we should add and/or improve:• Various game mechanics such as Laws and Technologies.
•Help with Models: Help with unit model designs and specific country historical models/equpment, for improved historic accuracy and immersion.
•GUI/GFX Collaboration: Improving the graphics and interface, for a better immersion and usability.
• AI work *Telepathic link to Dr. Johnson*
• Events suggestions? there are several member old*tip the hat* and new that done some work and I have done some preliminary work myself and glad to help with what I can.

Known Issues• Techs get a little unbalanced in the cold war era (1950+)

去下Black ICE Mk VII把，，，那个DD没做完就扔出来了
